There's another commonly available book on portal:
Wrox's Professional Portal Development with Open Source Tools

but it doesn't seem to be a good one.

I don't use MSN and won't try to send a 7MB file to anyone's email account, since most likely it'll get bounced back.
Afterall, it's not too good a book, try the Manning ebook first.
