1. the interface is based on eclipse, a open source ide, very flexible.

2. including a visual jsp/html edit like what in websphere studio.

3. it is not only a ide but contains a websphere test environment to run and debug jsp/servlet and ejb.

4. it has a lot of feature that supporting j2ee developing

5. the best thing is it don't require packaging first before running your J2EE application in it's self test environment

there will be a new version integrated in websphere V5 supporting webservice development soon.

Posted by: Jerry18 Posted on: 2002-08-07 20:14 It's too slow for developing J2EE. And its IDE is not strong enough. Some functions such as "code format" is leaker than IDEA. Oh, it's too big. Maybe due to the support of CICS, SWT, or something else owned by IBM
