Bill Kinnersley 从1991年至今日搜集整理出了一份The Language List，其中列出了2500多种程序设计语言并附有简要介绍。

Éric Lévénez 整理并绘制了一幅名为The History of Programming Languages的图表（PDF彩色版本），清晰呈现了从1954年FORTRAN的出现到2005年Python 2.4.1的发布这50多年间50种主要计算机程序设计语言的演进。

Logo 是1968 由 Lisp 1.5 而来 (小海龟)
Algol 是1958 由 FORTRAN 1 而来

Lisp 和 FORTRAN 两个完全不同的分支

Thanks, I never heard Logo. Embaressed

I checked my first list, but did not check on the second list. i also found 2 languages (simscript, GPSS) I learned not on the first list.

Developed 1966-1968 by a group at Bolt, Beranek & Newman headed by Wally Fuerzig and including Seymour Papert

A LISP-like language aimed at children and other beginning programmers, noted for its "turtle graphics" used to draw geometric shapes. Logo interpreters for the Mac, Unix, the IBM PC, and X Windows are available:

I will certainly be more careful next time...

Officially, my first programming language is Pascal. Before Pascal, learned a little fortran/basic, a little something else, but did not program on them.

My first programming language is Basic -- Apple II Basic, aka Gaming Basic.

The first programming language I officially learned is Fortran (I had to write a test to prove so), though I had been writing dBase II/III and Lotus-123 macros for quite a file.

The only programming language I learned from a course is Scheme, which is not on the list, but could be taken as a dialect of LISP. I still love this beautiful language.

最早了解的是 Logo 和 BASIC
第一个系统学习的是Java （2000年底）
学校开设的第一门课程是IBM-PC汇编

在 /.cn 投票开始不到24小时，已经有103票

Basic 近乎占了50%, 名至实归

C/C++居然第二，有些意外；开始个人认为会是Pascal 或 FORTRAN第二。不过想来现在大学就连中文系和外语系都开始C语言设计，所以也就没有什么可意外的了

在/.cn 的选项中失败的没有列入Logo，但是发现了仍有4个手工回复的选票

意外的还有：选择Java，PHP的也少的可怜（或许和目前浏览/.cn的用户群体有关）

这个投票可能将持续一个星期，请大家关注（到时还会有一个总结的）—— 这个投票也算是一个广告吧：）

Posted by: Illum Posted on: 2005-09-09 17:30 哇，我也是从Basic开始的，高中的时候在286的机器上写还记得第一段代码是把谱录进去然后让蜂鸣器发生，不过那时候还不知道蜂鸣器后来学VB，然后学的pascal和dephi，大学开的C/C++，汇编，现在主要用java了不过公司准备大举迁移到。net上开发，估计只好再学C#
