我个人觉得你没有必要死抠这些名词，我个人觉得都是Model只不过是放在不懂得地方，用途上有所差异，不要以词害意，当需要Model的时候，你自然会觉得，应该在必要的地方建立Model.

从使用角度，这样划分，不知道妥当否？
在view层，使用formbean
在业务层，使用vo，或者叫domain object
持久化层，使用po，
需要跨层粗粒度传送信息，使用dto

If you do these, try with some coding. And look very carefully at the repetition of the code. Are these repetition reasonable?

要隔离, but in a proper way.

a business centered approach would be using interfaces, rather than vo and dto.

formbean and po are living in their own domain, or if possible, just use the do from business domains as dto, rather than create seperate ones.
