很幸运我通过了IBM的XML考试，总体说来这门考试还是比较难，我只得了67分（58分通过，我考SCWD、BEA Weblogic都考了85分以上）。原因是对口的资料少，因为这门考试考的范围很广，超出了XML301等IBM官方课程的覆盖范围。并且考试题目大多都是情景题，题目很长。我原来对XML不是很了解，所以我花了大约2个月的时间准备。以下是我的参考资料，希望对大家有用。

Agree. I passed IBM141 two months ago. But I think the real test is more difficult than Whiz. My experience is almost all of IBM Certifcates(Java, XML, OOAD, etc) are more difficult than SUN and Bea's. It takes more time and effort to prepare.

I think XPath is not too difficult. But It's the key to pass the 141. If you fully understand and master XPath, XSLT will be easy. You will be rewarded if you take time to do more research on XPath.

楼主厉害。我是去年6月考的，那时侯总体感觉很难，考试的面很广，IBM所谓的RELATED，相关的技术也太多了哦。几乎有关的都有考，头都大了。我考的时候，JAVA的API考了很多。现在考试的侧重点好象变了。还有我感觉模拟题比真题要简单，其中有几道题目是一模一样的，嘿嘿！

For Why:

For my experience, since XML141 includes too many XML related technologies, Whizlab could not include everything for test. I could finish Whizlab tests with over 90% right and also with other simulater testing that javaranch provides. But In real testing, my result is just about 70% right. In some scenario, I still felt confuse, not sure which option was right. Maybe if you have more practical experience with related XML technologies, you will feel comfortable with it. It's just my peronal opinion.

For zbljava:

If just want to pass the XML141, Maybe the book "Professional XML" (IBM recommend) and Whizlab Simulator will be great helpful.

If you want to get more, not just a certification, I recommends the O'reilly

from: IBM Certified Developer - XML and Related Technologies
to: IBM Certified Solution Developer - XML and Related Technologies

The requirement to achieve the certification certificate remain the same. Candidates still need to pass one test, namely Test 141, XML and Related Technologies.
