You need to find a "numerical anylysis" book or website, then find or learn the algorithm by yourself. Then write a program to do it.

You can use any high level programming language include Java/C/C++/Fortran, or even VB, to solve it, but you need to understand the algorithm first.

I don't think anybody here can pop-up an algorithm or program from his/her head to help you. The question is way too academic, unless somebody is working on similar problems right now.

I was pretty good on "numerical anylysis", but have not done such for 10 years. Do you know Java only has 5+ years history?
